Jack

Jack, a handsome, intelligent German Shepherd, will not be joining the others, not yet, if at all.  He had been recruited from a store in Fargo, North Dakota and was on the way to the Outer Station with Barbara and Gordon when they stopped in Billings, Montana, hoping to find one more recruit. 

That’s where he was taken by the villains of this story, stolen from Barbara and Gordon’s van while it was parked in front of Diggity’s store (with Diggity watching on).  The loss of Jack weighs heavily on everyone—dogs and humans alike.  Amy, who is not only a recruiter but a detective, is doing all she can to locate Jack and save him from the thieves.
